This position is for the Senior Site Representative at the BAE SYSTEMS, New London, CT field office.
Provide liaison between BAE Systems and LMSSC, NGMS and local Navy
Provide local support for interface coordination and systems integration
? Process incoming Coordination traffic (new drawings, PNOC?s, resolution messages, TOG changes, etc.)
? Track Coordination related actions
? Maintain local files
? Issue reports
Provide local SPALT processing support
? Review SPALT proposals with local contractors and Navy for SSPINST compliance
? Perform technical pre-approval review
? Liaison between contractors and BAE Nuclear Safety for nuclear safety review of draft SPALT document
? Work with local Navy and contractors thru the SP approval process
Support Trident/FBM and related Programs activities
? Attend key meetings and Design Reviews
? Maintain knowledge of Programs status and issues

Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in an engineering field and a minimum of 2 years engineering experience, with at least one of those years of experience being with SSP support. Must possess an Active Secret level clearance.

Preferred Skills:
Masters Degree in an engineering field SSP Coordination knowledge. Fleet Technical Proficiency Evaluator (FTPE) training. Configuratin Management (CM) experience. SSP SPALT knowledge.
