Jobing Description

Position Responsibilities:

• Be flexible, work independently, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks


• Engage vendors/carriers and ensure they are meeting data requirements


• Evaluate system changes for downstream system and/or client impacts


• Prioritize and track all issues to resolution


• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager as appropriate.


• Participate in prototyping solutions to provide the business unit a preliminary evaluation and/or user interface experience


• Work with the business to identify minimum performance expectations and service levels


• Develop and maintain working relationships at all levels of the business unit


• Validate that all functions perform according to the relevant specifications


• Acquire and maintain working knowledge of databases, file systems and architecture that support the application


• Facilitate and or assist with client meetings. Provide agendas and follow up with meeting minutes


• Provide required problem and status and time reporting


• Complete analysis and data quality assessment of eligibility, medical, prescription drug and other data types

Soft skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with external clients and vendors.


• Ability to organize meetings and good analytical skills.


• Team player and self-starter.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

• 1+ years Business Analyst experience


• 1+ years experience gathering and documenting requirements and specifications


• 1+ years Data Management Experience


• HS Diploma/GED + 2 years technical of analyst experience OR Bachelor's Degree

Assets:

• Healthcare Industry experience


• Software Testing experience (UAT testing etc.)


• Basic Programming experience (SQL, MS Access)
