Primary Responsibilities:


  • Act as a liaison between Insurance Solutions (IS)Agent Distribution team and Medicare & Retirement distribution channel partners.

  • Act as a liaison between Insurance Solutions Agent Distribution team and other Medicare & Retirement distribution channel partners (Evercare, Part D, Americhoice, etc.).

  • Build strong relationships with Insurance Solutions and other Medicare & Retirement distribution teams within region from top to bottom.

  • Leverage relationships to ensure IS products are top of mind and that distribution partners are selling prospective member into the right plan.

  • Engage with other United Medicare & Retirement distribution channel partners to develop strategy that maximizes sales by site and best leverages available resources (leads from C360, local marketing efforts, community meetings, etc.).

  • Assist United distribution team in executing plans effectively to meet to be identified sales targets for IS products.

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Directors to evaluate region and producer sales results vis-a-vis plan and adjust as needed to meet/exceed targets.

  • Ensure that "virtual" team built works together and hold each other accountable for results.

  • Conduct training sessions (both direct and Train-the-Trainer) virtual, and face-to face (as needed) settings to ensure distribution partners are fully trained on IS products, initiatives, incentive programs, and available tools.

  • Partner with Medicare & Retirement distribution team to identify and prioritize available training opportunities.

  • Relay identified areas of improvement for training and/or additional tools to home office training development partners.

  • Ensure distribution partners are aware of sales tools available to them and how to use them effectively.

  • Do spot checks within region to ensure everyone is delivering training in a consistent manner.

  • Ensure field distribution needs are met.

  • Partner with IS Distribution Sales Support Team to escalate producer concerns and questions to facilitate rapid resolution.

  • Coordinate with Regional Sales Directors in corresponding and communicating with the Field, FMOs and agents.

  • Aid in the development of sales tools available to effectively train agents on the street.

  • Ensure Distribution has Producer Handbooks and Enrollment Kits in the hands of certified agents.

  • Promote the availability of marketing pieces, know how to properly use them to drive recruiting of agents and new sales, and educate agents and FMOs as requested.

  • Escalate operational areas for improvement identified by distribution for review, prioritization, and eventual implementation.

  • Escalate unmet reporting needs identified by distribution for review, prioritization, and eventual implementation.

  • Provide support to FMOs and Field offices for sales meetings and events,

  • Work independently as needed with nominal guidance and direction

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Act as a key resource to Regional Sales Directors, agent team and other department for agent business activities

  • Assess and interpret agent needs and requirements

  • Identify solutions to requests and problems

  • Manage and track sales performance and trends

  • Handle multiple priorities at one time

  • Work cross functionally with different business units

Skills / Requirements


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years experience in Health Insurance business (Senior aged health products)

  • 3+ years of experience in Health insurance or healthcare industry is required

  • 3+ years of experience selling products and services

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining client relationships

  • Willing and ability to travel up to 75% of the time

  • Health and Insurance Sales license is preferred

  • Experience in Senior Aged Health Market is desired
