Position Details Utilizes measurement system analysis
(MSA) to track product quality. This
includes Statistical Process Control (SPC),
I-charts, or other methods. This also
includes identifying quality opportunities
that need to be addressed in PFMEA and
the Control Plan.
Makes initial quality decisions on
products of questionable quality based on
the part print, specifications, fit and
functionality of the part as well as the
customer requirements.
Provide technical assistance to
manufacturing, test, troubleshooting and
service personnel.
Must be knowledgeable in the
effective use of Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
tools and concepts to assist in process
Must be able to work extended hours
when required.
Identifies and controls Manufacturing
process defects (scrap, nonconforming
material, customer complaints) by
participating in efforts/teams focused on
identifying the primary root causes and
implementing corrective and preventative
actions. May be responsible for querying &
bounding data to support implementation of
complex & documenting release criteria.
Assists in creation of Quality Tools &
Training Materials by understanding the
limitations of existing quality tools and
training materials, and by helping to identify
more effective tools & materials.
Required Qualifications Skills/Experience Requirements
Two years working with lean six-sigma
Computer literate to include Microsoft
Office products
Good verbal and written
communication skills
Supervisory experience
Green Belt/Black Belt certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Education Requirements Bachelor's
degree plus 2-5 years of related work
experience with a good understanding of
specified functional area, or Master's
degree with 0-2 years of related work
experience, or an equivalent combination
of education and work experience.
