Job Description
-Primary responsibility is to support pricing initiativesand develop/assess market strategy in the changing 51-300 segment for NewEngland, NY/NJ, MN/AZ and Great Lakes markets. 
-Areas of focus include Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA),assessing risk-based pricing levers, assessing product strategies, andreviewing narrow network pricing.
-Support New England, NY/NJ, MN/AZ and Great Lakes marketsduring Select segment market deep dives, partnering with Product, Sales,Finance, Underwriting and the market president.
-Perform studies of risk analytics.
-Understand competitive positioning/intelligence and use toinfluence product and pricing strategies.
-Assist with key actuarial priorities, including forecastingand reserve analysis.
-May assist in pricing for New York SG ACA market withsignificant membership, as well as emerging Professional Employer Organizations(PEOs)

Background Experience
Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years relevant experience.
Must be an ASA or FSA and is typically a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (or other accredited actuarial organization) able to sign state rate filings and other required actuarial certifications.
Strong communication skills
Healthcare experience is desired
