Arbella is looking for an exceptional Claim Team Manager for our Claim office in Farmington, CT. This candidate will successfully lead and develop a team of Claim Adjusters in the investigation and timely disposition of Personal claims in CT.   

 Responsibilities:

 Select, train and develop an effective high performing team. 

 Provide direction, coaching, set expectations and manage the performance of the team.

 Conduct performance appraisals, recommend salary adjustment, and promotions. 

 Ensure exceptional customer service and high quality work from direct reports.

 Successfully lead operation and team and make change in process, procedures and structure to optimize resources and achieve business goals.

 Analyze claim file, management information and provide guidance to unit employees on investigations, appraisals, liability, coverage and settlement techniques.

 Collaborate with managers, examiners, insureds, claimants and attorneys to investigate and settle claims. 



Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and 5 - 7 years of Personal Property adjusting experience preferred

At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

 Proficient in Microsoft applications

 Exceptional communication, collaboration, customer service and relationship building skills required.

CT license desired

 Some travel is required.
