• Exceed our customers’ evolving expectations by providing World Class customer service and a pleasant and rewarding shopping experience.

• Build relationships with and educate our customers in order to create sales.

• Achieve all operations and sales objectives/goals for assigned area (e.g. contribution, budget, gross profit, productivity, inventory management, merchandising/signage, price checks/changes, promotions/contests, etc.).

• Make, mix and compound prescriptions for the customer and give over the counter recommendations.

• Ensure inventory is properly maintained to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Fill and evaluate prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, legality and proper labeling.

• Maintain adequate patient information to ensure safety and appropriateness of the prescription.

• Ensure prescription pricing follows established guidelines and procedure and verify prescription pricing according to schedule.

• Administer flu vaccines in accordance with state regulations.

• Collaborate with management team to ensure interdependence throughout the store and Company.

Requirements

• Ability to represent A Culture of Caring and The Pursuit of Excellence™ through Big Y’s Firm Foundations™ (Character, Collaboration, Personal Development, Actions & Results).

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.

• Must complete HIPAA training.

• Must be certified to administer vaccines in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.

• Ability to demonstrate leadership through his or her own example.

• Ability to demonstrate financial acumen.

• Must project a clean and professional appearance.

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.

• Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the pharmacy.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to prioritize and follow-through.

• Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to learn and utilize computer applications.

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Must consent to and pass a drug screen and background investigation at time of hire or transfer.
