Essential Duties
1. Organizes and arranges archival and manuscript material in alphabetical, chronological or other appropriate orders. 2. Performs routine procedures to arrange for preservation of the materials. Labels manuscripts folders and containers. 3. Compiles listings of materials in collections as appropriate. 4. Compiles, inputs, and formats data on collection material and collection activities in manual and automated files. Compiles statistics. 5. Arranges, sorts, files and stamps catalog cards. 6. Prepares materials for microfilming. 7. Inspects film for quality and completeness. 8. Performs clerical functions incidental to library activities.

Required Education and Experience
Two years of related work experience and a high school level education; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Position Focus:
Under the supervision of the project archivist at the Fortunoff Video Archive, watches video testimonies of Holocaust survivors recorded in Hebrew and synchronizes the digital video with a summarized transcript in English using a web-based application.
1. View video testimonies of Holocaust survivors recorded in Hebrew and synchronize comprehensive summary in English using web-based application.
2. Provide translation assistance to archivists as required.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skill/Ability 1:
Demonstrated ability with automated systems and computers, especially word processing and database use (a brief test of the candidate’s ability to manipulate the necessary applications may be required).

Native fluency in Hebrew. Demonstrated ability to read and write effectively in English.

Required Skill/Ability 3:
